Course Description

English as a Second Language MTEL Test Prep Field 54. The ONLINE English as a Second Language (ESL) MTEL Test Prep Course has as its goal to increase student proficiency in the following areas: basics of language acquisition, ESL instructional approaches, cultural factors affecting the teaching of ESL, aural/oral aspects of language instruction, principles of reading and writing instruction for English language learners, assessment of standardized exams and of content-area learning. This course is designed to help students learn the skills needed to score well on the exam. This course is 100% online and self-paced. A few days after registration you will receive an email and will be provided with access to the Online course.
