Course Description

This beginner-friendly course is designed for adults with little or no computer experience who want to become more comfortable using technology at home, at work, or in school. Through hands-on activities and guided instruction, participants will learn the essential skills needed to confidently use a computer or laptop running Windows 11, navigate the internet, communicate through email, and stay safe online.

Participants will gain practical experience using common computer applications and tools while building the digital skills needed for everyday tasks, workplace success, and lifelong learning.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the basic components of computers and mobile devices
• Navigate the Windows 11 operating system with confidence
• Create, organize, and manage files and folders
• Improve keyboarding and typing skills
• Browse the internet effectively and safely
• Send, receive, and organize email messages

No prior computer experience is required.
