Course Description

This class is for students who have completed beginner’s Spanish and want to continue growing in their Spanish skills beyond the basics. As you continue to grow your Spanish vocabulary, you will be able to talk about past events and form questions in the past. You will be able to describe things you used to do. You will be able to tell a story or talk about a (past) event. Some of the most common verbs in a language are irregular verbs. You will practice using irregular verbs in spoken and written Spanish. What is the difference between the Preterite and Imperfect? Additionally, you will be taught about ways to express the future using a variety of verb tenses. In every class, you will practice conversation using what you have learned. Are you ready to move beyond the basics?
