Course Description

First Degree Reiki is a basic course where students learn the history of Reiki, hand positions used for self-Reiki and for doing Reiki on others. Students participate in giving and receiving Reiki treatments, see how the chakras contribute to these treatments, learn how it can trigger the body’s own ability to heal and how it is used to help promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Each participant will receive Reiki I attunements. After completing Reiki I, many practitioners have found benefits from self-Reiki. It can aid in relaxation and stress reduction, relieve pain, treat symptoms of an illness and balance energies in the body as needed. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate. Students are asked to bring a bag lunch to class.
