The ESOL Program offers classroom instruction in reading, writing, oral communication and grammar incorporating basic computer skills, Math and Career Ready 101 skills. Depending on the results of your assessment test, Level 1 through 6 classes are available.
Classes are FREE with funding.
Do you want to get your GED or HiSET?
Improve your English language skills, complete your GED/HiSET, or receive extra help in math, reading, or writing to prepare you for college-level courses and improve your career options. Placement test required.

Do you want to take the next step to PREPARE for COLLEGE?
The Transition to College program prepares you to transition into and complete college education or training through academic instruction, advising, a three-credit college success course, and two three-credit computer courses. Placement test required.

Are you receiving SNAP Benefits and are interested in improving your ENGLISH while taking CAREER TRAINING?
Our SNAP Path To Work programs will help students to expand their knowledge of the English language while gaining skills in a specific career field. English language learners with high-intermediate to advanced levels of English language proficiency will receive supportive ESOL services while enrolled in their career skills course. ESOL instruction and activities will closely follow the career and vocational curriculum to bolster the skills learned in class.

The MassSTEP programs build pathways that prepare adult learners for promising careers with dynamic Massachusetts businesses. These programs provide concurrent adult education, workforce preparation activities, and workforce training contextualized to in-demand occupations or industries and conclude with participants earning one or more industry-recognized credentials. Placement test required.
