MassSTEP 

The MassSTEP program builds pathways that prepare adult learners for promising careers with dynamic Massachusetts businesses. These programs provide concurrent adult education, workforce preparation activities, and workforce training contextualized to in-demand occupations or industries and conclude with participants earning one or more industry-recognized credentials.

MassSTEP Accounting & QuickBooks Certificate Program for English Learners

A Contextualized ESOL program, where students learn and apply the Principles of Accounting, as well as QuickBooks, and accounting software. The program culminates with the QuickBooks test and certification. The course is taught in English to language learners at an Intermediate to Advanced level of English and is supported by an ESOL instructor. Students will be assigned a program advisor who will help guide them through the program, provide job readiness skills, career planning and support services. 

Location and Dates

The 15 week program will be held in-person on the Lawrence campus, three evenings per week from 6-9pm. The next cohort will begin December 3, 2024.
