Course Description

Creating a fundraising plan is critical to development success! You'll learn tips, tricks and tools to create a strategic fundraising plan, with a focus on fundraising and making the ask the first night and grant writing the second night. Includes preparing successful proposals, researching funders, and developing strategies for approaching grant makers and obtaining grants. We'll put grant writing in the larger context of resource development, emphasizing the need for diversification. (Nonprofit Management Certificate Program)
