Course Description
Do you have little or no medical training in CPR/AED/First Aid and want to be prepared for an emergency in any setting OR need a course completion card for your job or other requirements? If so, this class is for you!
Being knowledgeable and skilled in providing first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can help you to make your workplace, home, and community a safer place to be. The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
You will learn about:
First aid basics
Medical emergencies
Injury emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Preventing illness and injury
Adult CPR and AED use
This course is a video-based instructor led course that teaches the students critical skills needed to respond to an emergency until the emergency medical services arrives. Students are required to demonstrate skill competency during skill practice and testing.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. If you are taking this class for professional reasons, please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

Instructor:
AnnCarol Kieyah is the owner of AK Health Solutions and a Registered Nurse with over 12 years of healthcare experience. She holds a graduate degree in Public Health Nursing and is also a certified CPR First Aid instructor with the American Heart Assocation (AHA) and the American Red Cross. She is passionate about creating awareness for disease prevention and health promotion.
