Course Description

This class will look into the history of mass, serial, and spree murder, along with some other equally chilling cases, all while trying to explain the public obsession with them. The instructor will provide artwork and correspondences from their personal collection from some of the most feared and infamous killers. With years of knowledge and experience, the instructor will look to reveal what goes through the mind of a killer, and how it relates to their background and childhood.

Instructor: John Olszewski has degrees in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Science, and Counseling Psychology and is the author of two books, The Long Dark Walk, which chronicles his research on the world's most famous killers, and Serial Shorts, which is a collection of seven short stories based on real-life serial killers.
